InfoMapa.cat is a map of Catalonia built county by county: where to stay, eat and shop, what to see, routes, events and the stories people leave in every corner. Free, no sign-up, in four languages.

We started in the Alt Empordà with a simple idea: to explore the territory on a single map, with information someone has actually checked. We open county by county, with people from each place.

Open data and people
We start from open data such as OpenStreetMap, completed by our sales team, the host of each county, the inspectors and the businesses themselves.
Free for visitors
Exploring, searching, making routes and sharing places costs nothing and needs no account. It’s funded by the businesses that want to stand out.
County by county
Each county has its own people: a host who knows it, a team that visits local businesses and, where possible, a club of inspectors.
No small print
Public prices that rise in announced steps, an invoice for every payment and a human review before anything is published.

Places to stay, restaurants, shops, services and things to see, with filters by type, capacity or price. Silver and gold mushrooms mark the featured listings.
Routes and events
Itineraries with their stops and the events of each county. You can also make your own route and share it.

The Inspectors’ Club is the part of InfoMapa we’re proudest of: people with disabilities work with us and are paid for what they do, together with a local organisation in their county.

Work with us.
InfoMapa grows with people from each place. Pay is based on results, and everyone can see what they’ve earned in their own area.
Seller
You visit businesses in your area and help them stand out. You earn 30 % of every listing you sell (40 % from the 41st of the month) and at least 5 € for a silver and 10 € for a gold one. Plus 10 % every year they renew and 20 % of the advertising and logos you sell.
County host
You’re the partner who knows the county and makes it move. You keep 30 % of what’s billed there, after the sellers’ commissions.
Recruiter
You build and coordinate a team of sellers, organise outings together to the villages and earn 10 % of what your team makes, on top of your own sales.

Frequently asked questions.
Do I need an account to explore?
No. You can move around the map, view listings, make routes and share spots without signing up.
How do I claim my business listing?
Find it in the directory, open it and press “Claim”. You’ll get a sign-in link by email; if you already manage other listings, the new one is added to yours.
How much does it cost to stand out?
Today, 10 € a year for the full listing and 20 € for the listing with ads, VAT included. The price goes up one euro every 2.000 map visits, always announced, and you pay the price on the day you sign up.
What is a trace?
A small piece of content tied to a specific spot on the map: a text, a photo, audio or a video. It’s published after a review and has its own rules and prices, which you can check beforehand.
Where does the information come from?
We start from open data such as OpenStreetMap, which our team in each county and each business’s managers complete and correct. Every listing shows its source when it has one.
What is the Inspectors’ Club?
A project with people with disabilities who work at InfoMapa as inspectors, organised with a local organisation in each county. They’re paid for days out with sellers, for points of interest and for workshop designs.

Today, in Alt Empordà and Baix Empordà. We open county by county, with people from each place.
How do I pay?
By card, through a secure payment. The invoice arrives instantly and stays in your customer area.
Can I work with you?
Yes: as a seller, as a county host or by building a team of sellers. And if you represent a social organisation, you can also open an Inspectors’ Club.
