Accessibility statement
How we work to make InfoMapa.cat usable by everyone, what we know still falls short and how to tell us.
Last updated: October 6, 2026
1. Commitment
We want the map, the listings and the services of infomapa.cat to be usable without relying on sight, a mouse or a particular screen size. We follow the WCAG 2.2 guidelines, level AA.
2. Status
The site partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA. It was last reviewed on 16 October 2026 with an automated audit (axe) of the main screens, in light and dark themes, on mobile and desktop, and a manual keyboard review.
3. What you’ll find
- A “Skip to content” link at the start of every page.
- Everything works with the keyboard, with the focus always visible.
- Buttons and links of at least 44 pixels, designed for phones.
- Light and dark themes; animations stop if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Texts in Catalan, Spanish, French and English.
4. Known limitations
- The interactive map cannot be used with a screen reader. The same information is in the list of places next to the map and in the directory.
- The games (jigsaw, mahjong, word search) require sight.
- Some photos uploaded by businesses or visitors have no description.
- Content from other websites that we show (Wikiloc, videos) depends on the accessibility of those services.
5. Tell us
If you find something you can’t use, write to info@infomapa.cat and tell us where it was. We’ll answer as soon as possible, within 20 days at most, with a fix or another way to get the information.
6. Review
This statement was prepared on 16 October 2026 and is reviewed every year or whenever a major part of the site changes.
