Address, GPS coordinates, elevation and nearby places for any location, even without a listing.

Step by step

Open the spot’s card
On a computer, right-click the location. On a phone, hold your finger still on the map: a ring fills up and, after one second, the card opens. If you move your finger, it cancels and you can keep dragging the map.
See where you are
«This spot» immediately shows the coordinates in decimal and in degrees, minutes and seconds. Within a second or two it adds the address (street, number, postcode, town and county) and the approximate elevation above sea level.
Copy the coordinates
Press «Copy» to take the decimal coordinates and paste them into your navigation app, a message or a form. The coordinates are exact; the address and elevation are looked up rounded to about ten metres.
See what’s nearby
If there are places from the directory within 2 km, you’ll see the three closest with their distance. Tap one to open its listing.
Use it as a destination or share it
«Get directions» opens directions to that spot. «Copy link» gives you an address that opens our map right there. From the same card you can leave a trace or advertise at that spot. Close it with the × or by tapping elsewhere on the map.

No address appears

At sea, in the hills or on unnamed tracks there may be no address: you’ll see «No known address». The coordinates and elevation are still valid.

The copy button does nothing

Some browsers only allow copying on secure pages (https). Select the coordinates text and copy it by hand.
