Understand what it is
It’s money for everyone in the club: for the premises, a party, a trip or merchandise. It comes from what we earn, not from anyone’s pay.
See how it fills up
Every ad an inspector designs that gets paid puts money in the kitty. Cheap ads put in less, so no ad ever loses money.
Record the spending
The coordinator records what it’s spent on: “end-of-course dinner” and the amount. They can also make a manual adjustment, up or down.
Check the balance
Everyone sees what there is, what has come in and what it’s been spent on. Clear accounts are part of the code of ethics.
If something doesn’t go as expected
A paid ad didn’t add anything
Only ads designed by a club inspector count, and only when they’re really paid (not in demo mode).
